Recently, the newest edition of the venerable game 7th Sea came out<1>. This is a role playing game about being swashbucklers on the high seas in 17th Century No-Really-It's-Not-Europe.We just had our first session, and covered: The last little fiddly bits of character creation, the characters running away from a Count with said Count's jewels and tax revenues in a stolen carriage. Then *sailing* away from the Count's navy. Then getting a Letter of Marque from Not-Germany by killing some wights. Then stopping an assassination attempt on some Not-German-Nobleman. Then fought and killed a Kraken.
In about 6 hours.
I *love* running this game.

"Don't change the subject"
"Too slow, already did."
<1> It's written by John Wick, which lead to great confusion when the movie came out and everyone was very excited and I was like "they made a movie about the dude who wrote a game about being operatic elves?"
