No posts for well over a week now. I'm surprised -- I would have thought that the 50th anniversary of Star Trek would have merited a thread at least.

I still look in these forums daily, but I admit I haven't had a whole lot to say. I blame WoW. And Deus Ex. And Trails of Cold Steel 2. And Starcraft 2. The list goes on. =)

Between Minecraft and getting the new lathe online and trimming out the guest bedroom and no new _content_, yeah.

I'm fairly embarrassed that I wasn't aware of Trek's 50th, though.

To be fair, us forum denizens are perfectly capable of making our own fun. We've just been deliberately choosing not to start 70-post hellthreads.

Maybe I should post something inflammatory about Overwatch. Or another car thread.

Car thread would be great. I've been absolutely hurting for lack of a project car, so a nice car thread would just be a knife in the butt.

Dunno about anyone else, but I've had medical issues out the wazoo to deal with. I check in daily, but posting to a forum kinda takes backseat to a doctor telling you they may have to cut your legs off.

Whoa! That is made of not-win. I hope that you get a better prognosis soon.

Well, due to the absolute and utter inability to convince myself that yes, I can actually afford Legion(nor will I be able to for at least the forseeable future), I have been spending my time in SWtOR, which I have not ONCE managed to get a class all the way through, despite having been one of the first to get it(to the point that I have the' Founder' title).

And having a great time. Playing a light-sided Sith inquisitor, and actually not only making it work but even make SENSE has been a blast.

You can pay for game time with your in-game gold now, just FYI. This may or may not make a difference; I know some people who barely had enough money to afford flight service and others who were like "I made half a million flipping stuff last month."

In my case, I've come down with a bad case of Real Life. I haven't really had a chance to geek out about something for weeks.

Same, working at a beachfront hotel has meant summer is that time of year where the hours I'm not working are devoted to sleeping and perhaps some food if I can swing it. To give some idea of how busy my life's been, yesterday was the first time I'd touched Fallout 4 since the Far Harbor DLC came out, which was the middle of May.

I seriously need a vacation. Somebody please kidnap me. (j/k)

I've been playing The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel lately and not much else.

Think about your typical school anime, then make the school a military academy and you have a pretty good look at the first one.

Of course it is set in a world of extremely deep class divisions and where the industrial revolution kicked off only 50 years ago.

--

I've also been playing a lot of Stellaris, and boy has the AI become an aggressive little pain in the butt since the last patch.

I've started Trails of Cold Steel 2 myself, after having LOVED the first one. Excellent game.

I started Cold Steel 2 about 2 week ago, and while I am enjoying it, I haven't had much time to play though.

I very badly want a tipping point, however, a point where the heroes do something that the "bad guys" don't account for and does more than produce a minute delay in a plan.

Because honestly, the bad guys have every advantage but two; raw population, and the fact that they are fare more divided in goals than the other side.

In addition to being a member of the Rough Summer club, I kinda fell down a hole marked "OVERWATCH" and haven't really extracted myself. But there's some tinkering starting to happen, I promise.
