This time it's personal.

Actually it's sort of a greatest-hits album; for the KDF character I started for bonus-XP weekend, I took a variation on a character concept from UF, made my favorites from various other experimental KDF runs her bridge crew, and ran with it. As an aside, that was a pain in the ass, because when bonus XP are turned on, you get to like level 23 before Chancellor J'mpok comes across with a free-starship token, and fuck me that climactic mission of what is normally supposed to be the Lieutenant storyline is a hassle if you're a Commander by the time it happens and still flying your tier-1 bird-of-prey.

This bio does not actually work very well with the way the game is set up; when I wrote it, I had forgotten that one of the first things you do after taking command of your bird-of-prey in the Klingon tutorial is go murder a crippled and defenseless Federation starship's crew en masse under the curiously un-Klingon impression that it will be a good first thing to have on your résumé. This does not particularly coincide with the "K'senya MacCready, Reluctant Klingon Hero" vibe I was going for there, which I thought I could get away with based on vague memories that the first story arc you deal with in the KDF is all about infighting among the Great Houses. But, oh well, if it was a real roleplaying game I wouldn't be playing it online surrounded by hordes of strangers anyway. :)

I didn't actually set out to have two Orion lady engineers, but I bought one and then they almost immediately gave me another one as a mission reward, so what're you gonna do.

Also, the stock tactical officer you get during the tutorial not only can't be renamed, you can't even write a bio for him. He's such a cipher that I decided to dress mine like the Klingon equivalent of a hipster douchebag and assume that he simply prefers to Be An Enigma and all that shit.

I don't generally take him on away missions. Maybe he's actually a holographic Klingon hipster douchebag who only exists at the Tactical bridge console.

Here's the firm with their current ship, the noDwI'. The Science Gorn looks like he's all srs bsns there, but he's really playing some triangle-themed Klingon equivalent of Tetris.
