"A Hardy Laugh"

"Hey, you guys have -got- to see this."
Inside a large crate, packed in straw, was a slab of obviously
ancient sandstone. Clearly visible in the center of the stone was the
imprint of a large, three-toed, reptilian foot. Just off to one side
was another imprint, clearly that of a running shoe.
"I'd love to know the story behind this one."

I'm glad to know someone on the Internet besides me read the Tom Swift/Hardy Boys cross-over. Glad to know, in an odd unnerving sense, that Tom Swift is some-what EPU canon too.

Heh. So THAT's what that was about. However, I still maintain THIS is the best snippet:

        "Um, Meg, what's in there?"
"nothing," she replied, her voice flat.
"You mean it's empty?"
"no... it's nothing."
"Ah, staring into the abyss and all that. Well," I said,
edging over to her, "why don't we just close that little box up then,
shall we?"

Uh-oh, sounds like someone's been wandering around the basement of Warehouse 23 unescorted again... Pardon me Citizen, but could you point me towards this individual so that I can have a little, um, chat with them. Yeah, a chat...

The problem with peril-sensitive sunglasses is that R. Dorothy's cat would always be setting them off...

Just to nitpick, it was Warehouise 12, I believe; but, yes, the effect was basically the same.

Not sure what you're referencing, I was talking about http://www.warehouse23.com/basement/ - both of the items listed in the previous posts can be found either in the basement or the dumpster (can't remember which).

Now, if you'll just look into the flashing red light...

They were in Warehouse 12, not 23. I'm just being a punk. ;)

No, it was Hanger 13, which in the WL universe serves the same purpose as SJG's Warehouse 23. Its also the same as that giant warehouse they hid the Ark in at the end of the first Indiana Jones movie.

Always wondered what that was about. Most of the references in that part of the story I couldn't figure out.
