   Some people have been expressing curiosity about these discs, so I figured I'd post their playlists and the listed associations for the songs. Exodus 1's MOSAIC is still fairly accurate; the other two have suffered some context drift as a consequence of their having been created before the seasons were finished.

   I am rather impressed I'd dare say. Good Choices,
knew "Cruel Angel's Thesis" Would fit in somewhere.
Now you get to choose you prize Minmei Doll or a Chibi
Rei Doll.

Gee. What a difficult choice. Let me thi - Rei. :)

YM "brainless". HTH.

Anyway, that's probably true, but it's not quite that simple. I don't think DJ would dislike Minmei if she were part of his social circle. She's earnest, and means well, and that kind of thing counts for a lot. She'd just really get on his nerves on the days when he couldn't quite tune out her chatter.

She's certainly not his type when it comes to the notion of a serious relationship, though. After all, he could know her for years in reasonable contentment before suddenly realizing that they'd never once had an actual conversation. :)

   Great, now you got me thinking---bad idea.

In Macross, Minmei was the secret weapon against the Zentraedi ("But you can't win a war by singing a song, Hikaru--that's stupid!"). Indeed, this made more sense than at first glance, once you take a certain Tokyo Rose into account.

However, in the context of NXE, singing a song might win a war, so long as that song were part of the Symphony.

An even better crossover for NXE/In Nomine--Angel from Rock and Rule. "If I can sing it [the demon] here, I can sing it back."
