"Thanks, EPU"

It just occurred to me that I don't think I've said that before.

I'm not a huge fan of some of the latest pieces -- Witches, for example, just isn't terribly interesting to me, and I wish I knew why so I could explain it -- but the one thing I can count on, that I have been counting on over the years, is that I can always find something enjoyable to read 'round these parts.

Or re-read, as the case usually is. :)

So, if I haven't said it before, I'm saying it now: thanks, EPU writers. You didn't have to put so much effort into this but I'm damn glad you did and I appreciate the hell out of it.

Well, that's fair. I mean, it took me a little while to cotton to the source for that series myself, which makes the ultimate outcome a bit... odd. :)

You're welcome, and thank you for saying so. I'm having a bit of a time of it at the moment (medical stuff combined with the deafening noise of Western civilization collapsing makes it hard to concentrate on, or even if I'm honest fully care about, the usual things), and seeing something like that helps a lot.

Yep, I can only agree. There are a few things that I go "huh?" over, though even that is an enjoyable read, just not with a background that I understand. But for the vast majority of stuff, I love every bit of Eyrie.

The old couch has an excellent point. To this day I regularly stuff Eyrie back into my reading list. I have the whole of western civilization at my hands, and EPU is still worth my time.
