I just got last week's payroll run for my shift in, and I noticed what I might understatedly call a discrepancy in Sara's pay cycle. As you know, she logged 77 continuous hours of work on her trip to Zardon.
According to the payroll run output, her gross pay for that shift comes to cr199,440.
I checked the overtime guidelines in the employee handbook, and it does indeed say that an employee's pay rate doubles for each contiguous shift's worth of time worked after the initial shift. However, the only way the above figure can be correct is if that progression is geometric rather than acting on the base pay rate at each iteration. Is that correct?
Yours in puzzlement,
- Gil

That's almost certainly a foul-up in the overtime calculation algorithm, but you know what? Screw it. After the performance those 77 hours represent, it's either that or we buy her a boat. Does she like boats?

I don't know offhand. She went to grad school on Vulcan, so I would tend to doubt it.

And make sure someone gets a photo of her face when she opens her direct deposit stub. It'll be great on the bulletin board near Greggo's office.
