I recently came across the YouTube channel Hacksmith, which has the motto "Make it real".

This team, after months of work they characterize as "rocket science", they build a lightsaber. I thought I'd share the playlist.

   These guys are fricking cool and I 100% recommend them for any tech oriented people out there (which is a pretty significant portion of the fanbase here, I believe?)
