"Teen Titans - Who's Slade?"

That says it all, I think. Now that "Slade"
has been seen in full color, the mask is pretty
telling. I won't name a name for fear of a
spoiler, but the one eye and the half-orange/
half-black color scheme is pretty distinctive.

Think it could be him?

Just to give an answer that doesn't outright spoil things, Slade is the first name of the same character that was in the Teen Titans comic back in the 90's as their enemy, and the reason they didn't use his supervillain name in the cartoon is because they wanted to keep things at a lighter tone, plus part of his name could lead to problems with another franchise. Those who know who Slade is will understand :)

I thought as much, NezuChiza. And I swear, if Slade EVER says that
he'll be back, I'm gonna hurt myself laughing.

If it IS him, though, what's with the apparent exo-skeleton he
seems to be wearing outside the spandex? That has me puzzled.

I wish I knew. Probably just an 'update' to the character to explain why he can kick everyones rear in combat and such in the cartoon, since it's doubtful they'd ever mention where his abilities come from. Ah well. ;_;

Nah. Deadpool was a Marvel character, and anyway they killed him off so they wouldn't have to keep paying Liefeld royalties.

... oh, wait.

You mean the guy he was a parody of.

Yeah, probably, lame as that is.

Huh.. I hadn't realized that Deadpool was supposed to be a knock-off
of Slade's costumed identity. Can't believe I missed that all these
years.

Looking back at the costumes, tho, it IS pretty obvious, isn't it.

*blinks* Ah, well, Aili always does say I'm a little thick-headed
in some areas, this must be one of them. (Fortunately for me, she
thinks it's cute.)

Hmm.. makes a body wonder if Slade's children will show up in
the cartoon then. And if so, villains? Or new Titans?

Inquiring idiots (like me) want to know! ^_^

Never mind the costumes; they called the guy "Deadpool" and his "real" name was Wade Wilson. :)
