"Gendo Tarantino?"

Re-reading Apotheosis Now, and having listened to an interview with Quentin Tarantino on DC 101 today, I was struck by an image of the new, improved Gendo speaking in a manner very much like Tarantino when he's all worked up about something. So I listened to the interview with him on the Kill Bill Vol. 1 DVD and again was struck with that image. Tarantino's a film geek, Gendo's a all-sorts-of-things geek. Maybe I'm just nuts. Just a though.

And the scary thing is, I never knew what Tarantino looked like until Kill Bill came out, and my first thought was that he really scared me.

Like Gendo, as a matter of fact. He would play Gendo well--in NXE.

Yes, he's too personable to do the original. I just saw him in Alias; he plays the slightly strange but very evil villain well.
