"XS X-Wing"

The 'Veritech Viper' mentioned in the Colonial write-up sparked a memory, and I dug up an old concept I'd written for a Traveller RPG some time ago, the XS model X-Wing, which I'll attempt to describe here:

"The XS model has the additional capability to transform into a humanoid-configuration robot. The transformations are as follows:
1) The main hull splits just after the cockpit, with the torpedo launchers and magazine droping off. the after hull and wings fold until the front section presses against the bottom of after section. A head is deployed from the new 'top'.
2) The nose section splits down its' length to form two legs. The top plate of the nose( modified from a normal X-Wing ) slides to cover the cockpit.
3) The engines pivot until the nozzles point 'back', where 'up' is towards the head.
4) The wing sections fold over themselves, creating arms. The laser cannons end up on the "forearm" area.
5) The proton torpedo mechanism is grasped as a gun, and a beam saber, carried in a rack replacing a standard X-Wing's cargo area, is deployed."

Not sure if anyone is interested, but I thought I'd post it here. Maybe someone will have use for it.

Fireball - It's what's for dinner!
