"Uh, Gweepings? :P"

LAST EDITED ON May-23-09 AT 09:30 PM (EDT)

Hello there!

I've been browsing the net for a megacrossover that's actually good. It took a while, but then I stumbled onto this site and read Undocumented Features.

I only need one word to describe my opinion of it: woah.

I've read a lot of literary works throughout my short life (I'm sixteen) and I have to say that I have NEVER found any project matching UF's scope, "epicness" and, not to mention, ambition. The fact that there is an INSANE amount of sources and references to countless other works packed in each story, yet it all ties together almost seamlessly (well, sure, you guys have mentioned that plot holes can pop up from time to time, but hey, in a project like this, you can't avoid that) just blows me away. I may never find anything this huge again.

I'm sorry, I must be rambling. :P I've made it up to the very end of Golden Age. It's going to take me a looong time to get up to where the project's currently at, but I'm not complaining. I can't wait for New Frontier. Of course, I'm also checking out NXE, and I'll be reading your other works when I have the time. It all rules. So, rock on, Eyrie Productions! You've got my support.

You think the number of sources used in the Golden Age stories is insane? Wait until you get to Future Imperfect. 8)

Welcome to the ranks of Eyrie fans, you're in for a hell of a ride.

You will find that the ride just gets better the further you get. Golden Age was great, don't get me wrong, but Future Imperfect (particularly the five Symphonies) are abso-fucking-lutely -brilliant-.

As for NXE, I've gotten mixed responses from the people I've linked to it, but I loved it.

Since you're sixteen, this method may work. Try reading NXE before getting into the original source. Most of the flak against Neon Exodus Evangelion is in comparison to Neon Genesis Evangelion.

25, actually. And I've never looked at the source material.

Though I have heard horror stories about the 'Screw you, fans' thing at the end.

I've seen Evangelion before. I know how different NXE is from it. I don't really mind. :P This is a new take, and I'm willing to look past whatever flaws it may have so I can advance. I've heard it gets better as it goes.

   Welcome to the addiction. ;)

...You're 16 so that means you weren't _born_ when UF started. Ok. Now I feel old. Where's that Omega-2 when you need it?

yours,
