"Genealogical Question"

This question just occurred to me while reading some older material:

Is Eiko Rose's father the long-missing Superman, as Project A-ko hints is the case for her counterpart there, or are the UF versions unrelated to each other?

Thanks!

I thought she was a genom creation? Something like a bioroid, but not a buma?

Actually, I believe Marty covered all of that in one of his Hammertime stories... In times of trouble special children appear on her (ex) homeworld. rather like the source, A KO's fight, B ko's invent, and C ko's inspire. Her's was the first generation where all three appeared at once.

Aparently, they also go through some sort of additional change after high school age, one in which they apparently spend at least some space of time in a coma. Eiko came out of hers to find her planet Trashed and Largo there. Largo of course blamed it on the WDF, and both gave her some bracers to help control her powers and 'recruited' her as his agent to the social dynamics inside the WDF.

Oh, and apparently it was Genom who trashed the planet, and her generation's B Ko and C ko were killed in the fighting; though Largo pretended otherwise and used the thought of being reunited with them as his hold over Eiko until SonSet.

Of COURSE you wernt
expecting it!

Actually, that's artificially induced. Their powers peak at eighteen, and fade out by twenty-seven, but the Rite of Agelessness locks them at the peak of their powers.

Oh, no, she's quite natural where she's from. Just one of her homeworld's generational curiosities.

Plus, the Superman thing was really more of an in-joke than an explanation.

Okay, obviously a story I've never read. Not that hard, I think I still have yet to go through about half of the older stuff.

You know as well as I do that that just means it's more of a temptation. <grin>

Thanks, everyone who answered.
