"Manhunt 6"

LAST EDITED ON May-31-09 AT 04:21 AM (EDT)

Well, that was most certainly fulfilling.
As always the little details you manage to work in (Sara meeting Grissom, not!Gryph getting his face fucked in time for UF4, the note from Founding Day, ect.) make the experience.
Well done, my good people, well done.

*Edit* Oh Goddammit. Would some one in power be kind enough to nuke this for me?

EDIT: I'm going to move this to the correct thread, so it doesn't get lost when this thread gets nuked.

One of the (many) best parts:

A moment later, Spock appeared from the buffet with a plate of
vegetarian dim sum in one hand and a thick sheaf of documents in the
other. The former he put in front of Saavik; the latter he handed to
Gryphon.
"My final act as your legal advocate," he explained to the
Earthman's questioning look. "These are the documents you must sign to
complete the bureaucratic processes surrounding your trial."
Gryphon flipped through the papers, skimming and signing them,
then paused at the last sheet and asked, "What's this one?"
Spock looked to see which one he meant, then replied in utter
deadpan, "That is an invoice to the GENOM Corporation, claiming the two
hundred fifty million Standard credits the company has promised to the
person who apprehends the Butcher of Musashi. It will be submitted the
moment HN1's trial is complete - which I am assured will be no later
than Monday."

Now, imagine Largo's face, when he gets the bill.

Manhunt, the whole thing, is awesome beyond my ability to describe.

“They planned their campaigns just as you might make a splendid piece of harness. It looks very well; and answers very well; until it gets broken; and then you are done for. Now I made my campaigns of ropes. If anything went wrong, I tied a knot; and went on.”
-- Arthur Wellesley, First Duke of Wellington
