Are we allowed to put up requests for some of the backgrounds on ppl? I know Gryphon did a list of two of the Duelist Chapters and who is a member at the moment, but something bigger. Kinda like the script for Kate's first "Crimson Lizard" movie she did on Ishiyama which might be a riot to read through.

I don't buy it. First, it sounded to me like Mia had made her peace with Minbar after leaving it. Second, we know that Saionji owes Mia something, probably because she knows he hasn't really turned and is willing to hide it from Akio et. al., which speaks well for her. Finally, and most importantly, the whole idea wouldn't really fit the rest of the story. The authors don't seem too big on the whole idea of justifiable anger being the path to the Dark Side. Recall they have the Katsujinkenryuu and Jei practitioners, all solidly on the side of light, but all willing to use anger to fuel their arts.

Of course, this leaves open the question of why she's in Oriphos in the first place. Is she serving as a double agent like Saionji, or just sticking around long enough to learn more about magic and how the world really works, or what? Still, there are reasonable answers to the open questions. I can't really change my opinion of Mia without more information.

FWIW, I don't think there's any particular rule about requests, but I also don't think it would do much good. We get what the authors can write when they can write it. (Considering the track records of most amateur web-based authors, I'm grateful that we get as much as we do.)

I could also see 1 or 2 possible reasons for her being in Orphios(spelling?)
1 She was in Cephiro and the former Head of the magic dept showed her some things and offered her "advance study"
2 Seeing all sorts of Harry Potter things, A nice old very instructive Book/Port Key
