"Force Sensitivity and "Duelists of the Rose""

In Duelists of the Rose, on line 1358, it's mentioned that Utena can "-feel- the taller girl's amusement building." Is this an early indicator of her Force sensitivity?

On a related note, did UF-Gryphon's suspicions along these lines start with something he observed during that first set of duels in A Rose for the New Year, perhaps related to Utena's "Dios moment"?

Possibly, or it might be a figure of speech.

Not really. There was so much going on there, metaphysically speaking, that he couldn't be sure exactly what she was doing, and the fact that she also had no real idea complicated the diagnosis further. It wouldn't be until after Knights of the Tenth World, when her situation had stabilized re Dios, that he began to form a solid belief that all the various phenomena surrounding her were related, and, well, what in his experience relates and unifies all metaphysical phenomena?

He wasn't certain until the next time he dueled her himself, of course. The only real way to get a sense of someone's combat capabilities is to fight her, after all.

In UFGryphon's experience? Usually Skuld.

The problem with assuming something like that is a figure of speech is The Courtship of Princess Dessler.

Which, I might add, was a fine bit of wordsmithing that I didn't catch until my second or third time through.
