"departmental T-shirt, 2410"

Many departments of the IPO follow a tradition, originally absorbed from the Utopia Planitia Naval Shipyards project office, of creating and distributing special employee T-shirts every now and then. Some are intended to commemorate particular projects or occasions undertaken by the department; others are just meant as declarations of membership, as it were.

The crime lab is no exception. Here is the department's "members only" shirt design for 2410 - except that, being the crime lab, they had their design put on the backs of lab coats.

Of special note is the limited edition created for the people in the serology/DNA lab, on which the "blood spatter" is:

a) white
b) fluorescent under ALS
c) glow-in-the-dark

It's white, ALS fluorescent, and glows in the dark?

Y'know I think this calls for a version @ Cafe Press. I think I'll invest some time in doing just that this weekend...unless the Eyrie store is still open?

You'd have to check with Bob Schroeck on that, he was the one who set that up. Alas, Cafe Press doesn't offer lab coats...

My store (The DSM Duelists store, http://www.cafeshops.com/DSMMIDuelists) and the Crack Weasel store (http://www.cafepress.com/cp/store.aspx?s=epu_weasels and created by someone else entirely) are still up and running. But there's no need to go through either of those to start a new line of EPU haute couture -- just start a new store. Zoner (I think) once set up a link that concatenated all the EPU-related stores (there was a third, but I don't remember anything about it) into one single link that displayed them all together; no reason why we can't do that for a fourth store too.

Hey, I think I'd buy some shirts and stuff once I get over to Japan. Maybe even before. :)
