"A Few Quick "Hunted Rose" Questions/Observations"
|
Upon my third re-read this week, I noticed a couple things I thought I'd ask about. "Point Swampy"? Is there a Monty Python fan assigning code names in the CFMF? "Ambassador Fenwick" of the CFMF wouldn't happen to be *Gloriana* Fenwick, would she? >Oddest of all, he appeared to have a white rabbit sitting on his shoulder. You know, not knowing Jer at all, for a moment I was afraid this was Mokona from MKR... thank god it wasn't... Finally, will we get to see Juri and Ivanova in a scowl-off? <grin> -- Bob --------------- 500 plastic ducks. 1 world. Infinite possibilities. http://www.ifoundaduck.com -- Bob ------------------- My race is pacifist and does not believe in war. We kill only out of personal spite. |

LAST EDITED ON Nov-15-01 AT 02:26 PM (EST) Quick Q of mine own: Do Sheridan or Sinclair end up running B5, or is that just not in the cards. >>Ivanova's spare time is largely occupied by scowling at Major Kira and >>Dr. Bashir at this point, but we'll see. :) Ivonova scowls at everybody. >Will we get to see Mr. Garibaldi as Kira's exec? I can take or leave >Dr. Franklin (even though I've met the man who played him), but I >gotta see Garibaldi. I've never really watched DS9, but I remember Bashir as being the perky, optimistic sort... Now I'm picturing him working with Franklin just as the latter is getting into the stims-to-keep-going-and-god-help-you-if-you-catch-me-during-withdrawl phase. I like Franklin, really! ^_^ blessed be. Nathan Baxter (Wondering what UFIvonova's first Life Lesson will be.) ----- Iä! Iä! Moe fthagn! |

It'll be amusing. I'm just worried about what will happen when the rabbits start breeding on B5. Len McCoy and Bev Crusher already have jobs. You're damned right Bashir's a better choice than Franklin; aside from his drug problem, the man has the bedside manner of a videocassette recorder, except without quite as much warmth. Ditto for Pulaski, plus she has even more of a problem with authority than Franklin, which would ever so endear her to Commander Ivanova. Hawkeye Pierce has been dead for centuries, though his memoirs are a source of inspiration to combat doctors to this day. As for original characters, there are some in the B5 medical staff (Brolin Keelen, for example), but for the department head, I wanted to be making a reference. --G. -><- Benjamin D. Heh. >Not to mention what her thoughts on cybernetics would be. mmm... I wouldn't go that far. Yes, she had issues with Data, but then, real AIs and sentient mechanoids aren't a fact of life in the TNG universe. How do you think the average person would feel if, instead of saying "The door is open" like a normal Buik Regal, your car gave you a dissertation on why it's a bad idea to leave it open, and then another one on why you shouldn't leave your jaw hanging that way, and by the way, don't forget your keys, because it's not going to unlock the door for you. Once she got used to the idea of non-biological sentience, she treated him just like everyone else... She even testified for him at the trial, IIRC. -Z --- We are Dyslexic of Borg. > Hawkeye Pierce has been dead for >centuries, though his memoirs are a source of inspiration to combat >doctors to this day. It should be noted that a certain character from Quagmire Project, Bifran Piers, shares very few characteristics with the human Benjamin Franklin Pierce M. D. except a vague similarity of names- for which he is called 'Hawkeye' by the human members of the CFMF. He's currently about 500 years old or more and has retired from the CFMF Palendrom to a quiet and honorable country practice on Salusia's north polar continent, Kumbar. He has no interest in further space service. Redneck Red wizard needs money badly... www.wlpcomics.com White Lightning Productions - don't tell the Pope |
