"Deliberate or coincidence?"

Egad, but my observation skills are really falling behind to have not noticed this until now. Anyway, I just wanted to ask one thing. In Roses in Springtime, the song "Scarlet of the Campus" was played at the Spring Concert in dedication to one Utena Tenjou. Is it actually a meta-original piece pulled from the first La Fillete Revolutionnaire Utena OST, or is it just sheer coincidence that the two musical themes share the same name?

Need you ask? :)

(It's worth noting that Kaitlyn's version is rather longer, though.)

Well, since you put it that way...

The real reason I asked was precisely because Kate's version is longer, which threw me a loop for a moment back there. I do wonder what sort of...embellishments...she added to the original.

Well... not being a composer, I couldn't really tell you. Probably something nice and brassy.
