"A Mysterious Poster"

LAST EDITED ON Mar-04-07 AT 11:15 PM (EST)

On the first day of the first month in some distant year,
the whole sky froze golden.
Some said it was the aftermath of the radium bomb,
while others told of a final retribution,
a terrible revenge,
of the gods.

OK, I'm officially intrigued. I just marked this down on my "wonder what this'll turn into?" list.

My guess, given the date given on the poster, is that this is part of the once-hinted-at, probably-apocryphal, may-not-ever-see-the-light-of-day Core rewrite.

Or, perhaps, a sort of "movie dramatization" of the Core. 'course, that'd be one long movie.

That, sir or madam or other, is the battroid form of the SDF-17 Wayward Son.

Until I came across a 3D model of the SDF-1 that could transform, I didn't realise the SDF-17 had this capability. (I haven't seen the original anime or the comic.) I think my mind is a little bit boggled...

The SDF-17 doesn't.

Not Macross II: Lovers Again, but rather Macross: Do You Remember Love?, which IIRC was a bit metafictional itself: in the Macross universe, it's a historical movie about the war.

(That said, despite its moments of pure cheese, I actually like Macross II.)

slightly busier version with ominous background text, because I like playing with layers.
