"yeah, more Bad Religion"

same character. strange preoccupation, this. out of the ether, as it were.

might lead to a small side piece at some point.

--

Shut your eyes
See the future's distant shore
March ahead
More enlightened than before
And there's sure to be bumps and distractions
But I know we'll get through
There'll be me
There'll be you
There'll be a way

Unresolved
Repercussions from your life
Fortified
With the vitriol of strife
And you can be gridlocked by predictions
But you're wise
Grab the prize
Then revise
Realize
There'll be a way
Oh - there'll be a way

And I don't know where we're going
But you're here on this ride
And we'll stand side by side
All along the way

Follow me
To the future's distant shore
Vagary
Needn't haunt us any more
And now it's time to set the agenda
Learn the past
Make it last
Share the wealth
Hold your fire
Conserve life
Make it right
Kill the hate
Negotiate
There'll be a way
There'll be a way
There'll be a way
There'll be a way
There'll be a way

I'll play "guess the character"...are we talking Scott Summers or the Doctor?

I'm leaning towards tall, dark, and British myself, but I can't recall the Doctor having such an angst fest. But the "there will be away" suggests to me our favorite Gallifreyian.

Well, I always thought the Ninth Doctor seemed like a man trying to run away from his past, especially in those instances where we got glimpses into the Time War. Think the time we saw the darkest side to him was in Dalek, when he was almost willing to kill Rose just to kill the (at the time) last Dalek.
