Admittedly, there aren't many of them yet, but maybe WPI alumni are invited too.

Well, there should be...2? 3? Full classes of graduates by the 2410-'11 school year. That's at least a hundred people, and if you get them in the habit of showing up for a reunion early on, then it's habit later when they're rich, and you can beg for money for them.

DSM doesn't really need to do that last part, but it is best to start cultivating nostalgia early. :)

Well, it doesn't need to do that NOW, but what about in 15 years or so, when Corwin and Anthy's daughter (has she been named on screen yet?) gets there, has a bad week, and blows up Hamlin Hall or something. ;-)

Named? She hasn't been born yet. We don't even know for sure she'll be a daughter. And you're already ascribing epic property damage to her. It's really true that some people are born to get no respect. :)

Well, according to a) Corwin's prophetic dreams and b) Midshipman Tenjou, she's a she. And (inferred) born by then.

And anyone who can blow up a residence hall gets all kinds of respect from me. You know, the same way that Aya "Go around the other side of the nebula" Nakajima gets my respect. ;-)

If it's not her directly, it will be the people stupid enough to come after her.

... and there very likely will be people going after her, because of who she's related to, if nothing else (and given those relations, she might make deadly enemies of her own, by the time she starts attending).

EDIT: Oh, and Homecoming starts on Talk Like a Pirate Day (and Hermione Granger's birth day, for that matter)? Arrr.

“They planned their campaigns just as you might make a splendid piece of harness. It looks very well; and answers very well; until it gets broken; and then you are done for. Now I made my campaigns of ropes. If anything went wrong, I tied a knot; and went on.”

I just noticed this. It's going to stick in my head for a while that Hermione's birthday is Talk Like a Pirate Day.

.... Giving us a framework for events DSM panic will interact with, I assume?

And why do I suddenly have this sinking feelign about the DSM Motorclub's day at the beach? some sort of collision between Top Gear's 'Road film (whith Fighting)' and Sgt. spookypants and lord knows what else waiting to blow up in eveyrones face.
