>Player 2 Flan >I now kind of want this sort of outfit to turn up in story just because of the potential for double takes by the rest of the crew. >civvie mode Sakuya > Somewhat bashful Sakuya is a bit extra adorable. Looks like she has a gift to give, judging by the box and expression Meiling is the recipient no doubt. >Koakuma looking very Helltaker today > And the world accepts this happily.

>as a person locked in a multi-year battle with pigeons for possession >of his barn, I know this feel, >and I also love that outfit >The one in flight seems like it might be part seagull, that or you've run into much more aggressive pigeons than I have. >not too unlike how I picture them >in one scene of the ep I'm working on now > Those are nice, Remilia's is a bit more eye catching with that half corset-y accessory. Though the picture itself causes some cognitive noise, the girls look adorable, but also like they're 10 at the oldest. Kind of a common issue for Scarlet art though. >it's... sort of like a Striker? >I really have no clue what's going on >in this artist's pics > 25th century Strikers, now warp capable? Remilia's outfit is rather nice in and of itself, and of the pair Flandre is a lot more likely to explore things like race queen fashion. >on Boxing Day, in some households, it's traditional for >masters and servants to switch places for the day > This just adds to the seemingly universal truth that all maids in Japanese media are somehow weapons of mass destruction, either directly or by association. It looks like the uniform is a touch too large, which implies Remilia even prevented Sakuya from altering it to keep her from doing any work that day. >"the moon is red tonight..." > I have to wonder if UF Remilia has a wardrobe even half as extensive as the available fanart implies she might. This is yet another 'formal but not too formal' occasion dress. >she looks more like Rei than herself with her hair like that, >but I like the dress > Fanart being what it is, I'd be tempted to tag this as a crossover and call it Rei-milia. She also looks rather significantly unhappy with someone/thing. Please withdraw to the minimum safe distance. >fun fact: dragons are immune to dead-arm syndrome > Even if they weren't, Meiling being Meiling she wouldn't care, the cuddles are more important.

fancy Flan happy Valentine's Day! another martial Flan wholesome lesbian snuggles if you have a scarf, it doesn't matter how short your skirt is OK, it's not an outfit, per se just her normal clothes, but super cute I don't usually hold with redesigns that set out to make Remi look older, but this one will do little black dress, Mk V the new butler came very highly recommended contemporary witch trio --G. -><- Benjamin D. >fancy! >That expression promises mischief. And I can't help but think I'm missing some context from Japanese culture that conflates Xmas with Valentine's Day given the frequency of outfits showing up that seem to mix them together.

>>>The preposition ("burn through the witches") connotes using >>>them up rapidly, which is sadly on point for the Allied war effort >>>thus far. :/ >> >>So how anomalous are the 501st in that regard? > >Considering that without Gryphon's teachings, the three oldest of them >would quite likely be retired with power burnout at this point, I'd >guess that they aren't anomalous at all.Yeah, the 501st seem to be outliers even in canon. I haven't seen the third series, but even by the time of the movie, Minna and Trude ought to be at the end of their careers. (They've also never lost anyone KIA or too badly wounded to return to action, although in at least two cases I can think of offhand, that's literally only because they have Yoshika.) Mind you, the JFWs are supposed to be elite special detachments, so you would expect them to have lower turnover than regular line units, but since we never actually SEE ordinary outfits in the source material, that's only speculation. --G. -><- Benjamin D. Speaking of Yonu, here is Reimu and Marisa's relationship encapsulated in two panels (or, well, technically four, I suppose), from the doujinshi Night Flight. :) (The incident in the flashback is from another volume, but I can't remember which one and don't have time to hunt it down right now.) --G. -><- Benjamin D. LAST EDITED ON Mar-13-21 AT 00:13 AM (EST) >aversion to religious symbols? >not so much. >Heh, it looks like she's gnawing on it out of some frustration going by her expression. Or at least boredom. Those gloves are neat though. >scholarly Flan > Hmm, not sure if that's a really fancy hair tie, or a fascinator of some sort, but whatever the hair thingy is it's definitely fetching. >contemporary Sakuya > >There's a whole series of the above, in fact, which probably ought to >get pooled. Here's Reimu, for >instance. > It almost seems sacrilegious to see Sakuya that dressed down, Reimu looks frankly adorable that way though.
