"Big O epsiode 4, "Underground Terror""

   Um..... that was strange.

No, I don't mean the part where Dorothy turns over all of the hourglasses on Roger's desk.

Is it me or was that some sort of World Fair display in that chamber with the mostly-wrecked robot? "Expo '04"

(Um, anyone try to find the black box on that thing, or did Bactine Man wreck that by tampering with the controls?)

It's not you - that's exactly what it is. A miniature City of the Future display, not unlike the one at the abandoned expo center in "Batman: Mask of the Phantasm".

I wish people still did things like that; we haven't had a decent World's Fair and Exposition type thing since... well, whenever the Montreal Expos came into existence... and I'm not sure that one was 'decent', since it was in Montreal. :)

Probably not enough left of it to mail home. (Although in a later episode, Norman does go poking around a bit in Dorothy's flight data recorder.)

I presume the dirt was from when that war robot fell into the ground.

Of course, I am wondering why it was built so deep underground.

Pity. I guess I'll have to wait until they finally show that scene depicted on some of the Toonami promos. The one with a bunch of big robots fighting in the city.

Good.... I think.

Why does that sound so dirty?

"Oh my, look at that. How convenient."

Oh. Right. Well, glad that's sorted out then.
