"SCIENCE!!!"

   Random question:

What -would- likely happen if you locked Skuld, Nikolai Tesla, Tony Stark, and Agatha Heterodyne into a R&D 'think tank' room for 4 hours, with any/all of the best R&D equipment out there, and slipped a few pizzas under the door to them (w/ sodas too).

Random question #2:
Can we see in a mini-story what might happen in such an occasion? Although I suspect much slapstick & SCIENCE!! as I do actual R&D.

Jailbreak? I don't exactly see any of these people as amenable to being locked in a room.

Don't forget the betting pool going on outside the room on "time until the first explosion". IMHO if Agatha gets into full Spark mode, she could cause earth-shattering kabooms just boiling an egg...

I confess I'm not really seeing the relevance to the particular forum in which this was posted, but for the sake of analysis, I would expect the first thing to emerge would be some sort of lock-defeating device, followed shortly by the test subjects.

Also, I'm sure they'd all be rather bemused, as three of them are from different fictional universes and one is dead. (Or, if you're looking at it as a UF thing, one of them is still fictional.)

Also also, there's only one i in Nikola Tesla.

Skuld voiced the primary obstacle to this sort of thing ever producing anything useful when she noted in Twilight that super-geniuses are not good team players. When they collaborate, it's because they had an idea that they want to work together on; not because somebody tried to make them brainstorm like marketing executives at a corporate team-building camp. :)

followed shortly by said subjects subjecting their gaoler to some serious definitions of pain, as well.

let me instead point out given they didnt need as much talent to rebuild the world engine, what the HELL would they NEED all that brainpower for?

They needed manpower more than brainpower, I think. The people handling the monkey wrenches actually having some idea what the stuff they were working on was supposed to -do- was just a bonus, if you ask me. (Of course, they actually had to have the technical skills to fabricate the parts, too.)

My opinion, a buck fifty, Starbucks, etc.

Hmm, I thought Agatha had a cameo appearance in one of the UF/Symphonies, which is the only reason I mentioned her. As for why I posted in this forum, its likely because Symphony is the one I read the most, and most associate with the overall UFverse. Sorry if I stuck it in the wrong spot.

Nope. It was in CSI:NA, the scene where Sara gets everyone together at the test track to help her quantify her new speed powers. And it wasnt a cameo, it was more of a single line gag. "We're doing SCIENCE!"

Hmmmmmmmm. Switch Agatha out for Washuu (since there is no Agatha in this universe) and add in Don Griffin to bring the roster up to five and we can have the UF Science Ninja Team Gatchaman.

And that would be completely amazing.

I suspect putting Mr. Tesla and Washuu on the same team would be a recipe for... not so much disaster as an absence of Mr. Tesla, actually. He had a long time in Valhalla to work out the excessive wariness of women he displayed in his first life, but there are limits. :)

That's why she's the Obligatory Little Member. By the same token, Don is the Big Guy of the group. (Although he's not all that tall, he's the only SCIENCE! person in UF who'd really fit the role because you haven't introduced a supergenius Hoffmanite.)
