"HIGHLY Tempted to write this up..."
|
Alright, keep in mind, I've only ever seen the first half of TNG, smatterings of TOS, and some wiki, and some mis-remembered eavesdropping. I've seen all of Revolutionary Girl Utena and both Star Wars Trilogies, though. Oh, and the new Star Trek movie. Which was awesome, BTW. How feasible would it be, years after 'The Revolution Will Be Televised,' for some enterprising Jedi/diplomat/PoliSci Graduate to take the lessons learned from the (WILD SPECULATION) successful re-uniting of the Jedi and Sith, and apply them to re-uniting the Vulcans and Romulans? |

>Still, with the horse before the cart, (meaning someone took the >lessons learned from the Romulan/Vulcan peace thingy and applied it to >the Jedi/Sith thing,) how's the feasibility now? That's not really what I meant; I meant that you're assuming the one applies to the other when neither has even been proposed, much less accomplished. I don't think anyone's looking to reconcile Vulcan and Romulus. At this stage, that's a little like campaigning for Congress in 2010 as a Whig, on a platform of protective tariffs for industry and reconciliation with the King. And the division between Jedi and Sith goes a tad bit deeper than politics... --G. -><- Benjamin D. It is a good job I am currently in bed, because otherwise my head could have slammed into something more likely to cause injury than a floral-print eiderdown. It's a daft idea, sir. And it does not pay to infuriate our Lords and Masters. Also, welcome to the forum! Have a nice stay here! --- "She's old, she's lame, she's barren too, // "She's not worth feed or hay, // "But I'll give her this," - he blew smoke at me - // "She was something in her day." -- Garnet Rogers, Small Victory FiMFiction.net: we might accept blatant porn involving the cast of My Little Pony but as God is my witness we have standards. |
