>Doesn't really matter. The site also has references to movies, books, >comics (print & web), and real life. Clearly these people need to focus. Or buy a new domain name. :) I'll be over here feeling faintly nervous, having reached the age where my paranoia about the legal hell I've spent the last 18 years (ye gods) building around myself is beginning to outweigh my delight at any sort of exposure... --G. -><- Benjamin D. I've found that page to be at times insightful, other times infuriating (it gets very regressive, and closed-loop over there) because it does kind of have an echo-chamber vibe to it now - kind of "insider" - which makes it useful if you're writing yes, but at the same time... Salt. As in, big grain. Some entries are useful (Magnificent Bastard, some of the ones related to that), others.... can get so in the weeds it's like "who cares?" after a while. The nostalgia trip one can get from it though is nice. If the postings are to be believed, some people writing there have some industry or publishing experience... Last but not least, sometimes they let politics drip into the articles, and I find it rather annoying. YMMV. "A good plan executed now is better than a perfect plan next week" - Gen George S. Patton, Jr. |
