"Oddly Enough..."
|
LAST EDITED ON Feb-13-02 AT 11:42 PM (EST) Well, its like this, I found the following link: Reuters news story Personally, I think that instead of having to appologize, this should become standard business pracitce. It certainly would make life in Tech Support SOOO much easier. Unless the person on the receiving end is the infamous BFOH. ^_^ {Edited to fix link markups. D'oh!} ___________________ Of COURSE you wern't expecting it!! NO ONE expects the Fannish Inquisition!! EPU RCW #86 Of COURSE you wernt expecting it! No One expects the FANNISH INQUISITION! RCW# 86 |

When I was working in retail (and it's starting to look like I will again soon -- god, I'm praying I get the software instructor job instead), there were times I wouldn't have minded handing the customer $5 and telling them exactly what I think. -- Sean -- Rabid Crack Weasel #42 http://www.thebrokenlink.org The Broken Link 4.0 is live! I got to spend an evening with the police thanks to one particular customer.. Guy threatens to come down and shotgun me, and my officemates, and my supervisor twice.. I don't get very happy.. So we informs him in no uncertain terms that a) he's lost his account. b) he's welcome to come down to the office. c) he'll never have internet access in Alaska again then I called the cops, kicked back, and waited. the cops showed up rather swiftly, we explained the situation, and me and one of the officers sat outside smoking while we waited for him to show up.. he never did. --- Kokuten Daysleeper RCW #13013 |
