"Now that Corwin and Utena are married..."
|
(at least, I think they are--by Asgardian standards, if nothing else) I find myself wondering what he's going to give her. Because I'm sure he's going to give her -something-. And I can't help but think that something is going to be a giant robot. (Because, duh, Corwin.) Going from there, the potential robots he could find-and-restore/make are many, of course--but the main character mecha from the series Shinkon Gattai Godannar are what really stick out in my mind. Because, well, Go and Anna had just gotten married, and Godannar and Neo Okusaer are combiners, and... it just fits. Just some ramblings, of course. o/~ |

LAST EDITED ON Jan-21-10 AT 11:48 AM (EST) Indeed.I'd kinda assumed that someone would try to persuade Anthy to get into a cake. And then said person would get hurled out of a window, carefully avoiding all the sensitive, delicate roses before going squelch on the patio. Edit for added clarity in the face of chronic misunderstanding. Also, there is such a thing as a drunken bet, y'know. --- "She's old, she's lame, she's barren too, // "She's not worth feed or hay, // "But I'll give her this," - he blew smoke at me - // "She was something in her day." -- Garnet Rogers, Small Victory FiMFiction.net: we might accept blatant porn involving the cast of My Little Pony but as God is my witness we have standards. |

>I'd kinda assumed that someone would try to persuade Anthy to get into >a cake. And then get hurled out of a window, carefully avoiding all >the sensitive, delicate roses before going squelch on the patio. Maybe I'm missing your point, but, if not... ... I can't imagine -any- scenario where this would be considered a win. Nor can I think of anyone close enough to the trio who would be able to persuade her to do such a thing, who'd then want to squelch her on the patio. Akio, maybe... but see above re: 'close to the trio'. --sofaspud -- |

>I'd kinda assumed that someone would try to persuade Anthy to get into >a cake. Seriously? You had? Because given the facts currently in evidence, that is a deeply absurd assumption to have reached. I mean... really quite, quite wrong. >And then get hurled out of a window, carefully avoiding all >the sensitive, delicate roses before going squelch on the patio. It's not the gift, it's the thought. ...although frankly, I can't imagine that her _present_ was Corwin's biggest concern given he just went on a quest to prove that he could marry her in the traditional fashion. rolls her eyes, t. now has a headache. >Dunno. I'm kind of partial towards the idea he gives her a necklace in >the shape of a drill, and occasionally when she's pulling an Utena, it >subtly glows bright neon green..... How does anything "subtly" glow bright neon green? Anyway, the last thing you want to do when Utena's being Utena is make her consciously aware of it; she might stop. :) --G. -><- Benjamin D. The colour could be bright neon green, but the intensity of the glow could be quite low. 'Sides, this is Corwin. He could reattune the glow of the necklace so that it's softer... we're talking about a friggin' deity here. A well-muscled and techno-literate and fluffy-haired and, and, and...
