   The trouble doesn't really start until somebody replaces the internal combustion engine with a mana-fueled engine. It may also be necessary to replace some of the parts to keep up with the power that Marisa can run through it.

I'm not sure why, but this unpacked an entire continuum of images in my head that could best be summarized by the title Marisa Kirisame vs. Army of Darkness.

Also, I just checked, and it appears that the one-man motor chainsaw, similar to the implement's modern form, was invented in the US in 1944. (Before that they were much larger affairs that were used like a powered two-man crosscut saw, and were usually of German manufacture.) So... that gives me ideas.
