"Finished Hopeless Lost...."

Well, I just finished Hopelessly Lost....
At first I had a little trouble, because of BGC:TIA, which was an offshot of this work. So some of the differences through me for a moment. There was a lot of role reversal between the two works, but that was part of the fun. Also the different "futures" in which each one has gone.

The American Trip portion, was definitely a switch in style and form from some of the earlier ones. It seems to be closer in spirit to a lot of the more "modern" EPU works.

I also found this line very funny at the end of the last chapter: "(hopefully in less than six years this time)"

I think it has been longer than 6 years! So Come on man! Get on the stick! It is not like you have ANYTHING ELSE to write ;)

Seriously though, I think that this branch of Eyrie would be hardest to revisit given what it was originally started as and what else has sprung from this work. While I would love to see what happens next, I am content with the "children" of this work.

And hey! It reminded me of this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AXUq4HG7fo8

So thank you very much!

Yeah, I should probably change that (and the HL index page, for that matter). HL is over; TIA replaced it. TIA1 basically was what happened in hopefully-less-than-six-years.

Some of what I was thinking of doing for the next episode either has appeared earlier in the timeline in TIA, or may still turn up later on, so I don't know if I want to do a "here's what would've been next" wrap-up, but it's possible sometime. I'm currently a bit distracted with things in another department, is all.

Well, there was that thread in the now-defunct HL board in which you posted the notes for newer EPU staff etc. about its past and future (and how much you regretted many of the decisions therein :) ).

Oh yeah :) I know it is over. There definitely no knock intended. I found it more funny than anything else.

But it was very interesting read, especially comparing it to TIA, which I re-read first.

But between then I need a BGC fix and BGC: Tokyo 2040 didn't do it.
I even dug out my BGC Best Of CD to transfer to my IPod.

I am simply amazed at your and all of EPUs creativity. I keep referring people here. Because you and the team do a really amazing job of merging so many different sources into a cohesive unit that doesn't exceed my capacity to suspend my disbelief. Actually EPU has done that better than some books and movies.

So thanks!
