This is funny to me for two reasons:
1. My "hard logic clutch"--nice phrase, that--was shredded the moment UF-Gryph walked out of the 8thdimension and found Yuri and Kei. Speaking Japanese. Nude.

2. By the time I got to the 'raptors, I'd read the Core, the Golden Age, and the Exile as they stood from about mid-September '98 to the first month of '99. By that point, nothing written by Megazone, Gryphon, or EPU at large could phase me. It was a very surreal four months or so.

I mean no slight toward anyone. I just happened on this while scanning the boards for threads I hadn't gotten to yet.
