"Star Trek movies in UF"

Which Star Trek movies, if any, have actually taken place in the UF universe?

In their complete and unaltered form, probably none, possibly one (The Motion Picture). Bits and pieces from the others may have turned up in altered forms here and there (although Wrath of Khan would need a new McGuffin, 'cause there is no way on God's green Earth I'm letting the Genesis Device anywhere near the tech base of the UF universe).

(On a related note, Battlecruiser Vengeance: The Final Battlefield is one of the show's fans' favorite outings in the movie franchise. Klingons loved the idea of seeing a god get his ass kicked while, at the same time, the Federation and Romulan Empire got a shamefaced lesson about pacifism and where you can stick it.)

Redneck (hint: the worse a ST episode/movie is, the more likely it is to be a 'fan favorite' ep of BV)

I dunno, I liked the speculative title for BV5 already postulated by a Forum reader the last time this came up, The Fatal Frontier. :) I mean, the Battlecruiser Vengeance opening monologue probably does start that way. "Space, the fatal frontier. These are the conquests of the battlecruiser Vengeance... "

Hey, now, that's not necessarily so. The Unconquered Country and First Conflict were both really good too. And who can forget the classic episode "Let That Be Your First Battlefield"?

... OK, bad example. :)

Yes, but being inherently good is not the same as being a 'fan favorite.' Fans' taste and critics' taste are not the same. }:-{D

Does that mean the odd numbered movies are the good ones?

Perhaps with the exception of BV II: the Wrath of qHon, in which enough smiting takes place in the source material to satisfy any Klingon...
