>Despite the song in the episode being Mark Knopfler, the title has put >Frankie Goes To Hollywood in my head. That is not entirely coincidental. Also, Elder Days Story Time INT. NIGHT. An apartment in Worcester, one evening in the summer of 1997. GRYPHON has just moved back east from the shambles that was his California experiment and is camped out in the spare room at JER and ANDREW'S place for a while. This particular evening, he's in there gweeping when JER walks in. JER Hey Gryph. You want some cheesy poufs? GRYPHON (puzzled) Uh... yes, Jer. I would love some cheesy poufs. JER Here you go. JER hands GRYPHON a CD copy of Welcome to the Pleasuredome, then slopes back out without another word. --G. shit me, that was 20 years ago -><- Benjamin D. As ever, TFLF continues to be pure adorable gold. Having seen the show, I'm really enjoying how the characters are clearly learning and growing in all facets; without losing any of the parts that make the cast such a joy to watch (read). This will, I feel, continue to lead to excellence :) -Droken "If at first you don't succeed, bull- riding is not for you." |

which makes you a gamer after my own heart Ritsu. I've yet to spend more than US 20 for a game (even including travelers tale Lego titles) but darn if both coaster planet and roller coaster tycoon world arn't trying to break down that barrier! > Tonight, they were playing Western Empire, a nation-building simulator > that cast each of its up-to-six players as the leader of one of the > warring factions that had, in ancient times, eventually consolidated > this part of the world into the Great Western Empire to the uninitated read something akin to Sid Meyers Civilization series (just about any darn release) > "Hey Mio," Ritsu asked. Oh, trust me Mio. Bellesarius' law is DEFINATLY in affect at this point. *seriously evil grin if she wasn't like TOTALLY underage. and 3 dimensions over.* > "It's not ornate, anyway," and broke them all—even Mio—up laughing. >>But alas, my attempts to Google 'Bellesarius' Law' have come to >>naught, with or without the spelling change Google thinks I need. >> > >Don't feel too bad, V. It comes from Quantum Leap and can best be >paraphrased as: >DON"T INVESTIGATE THIS TO CLOSELY It's "Bellisario's Law," named after Donald Bellisario, creator of "Quantum Leap" - as mentioned - and other TV shows. "Bellisarius" was/is the name of his production company. I believe the "law" was born when he answered a wide variety of nitpicky questions about "Quantum Leap" with something like: "Don't think about it too hard. It's just a TV show." *Sigh* I'm conflicted Gryph. Its your story, and yes, these audio narrations started as an experiment. And yet I want to say oh no, you should be changing your inflections to x at point Y.... EVEN THOUGH YOUR THE ONE WHO WROTE IT AND SHOULD KNOW BETTER. *mrgle* I mean, I'd crawl off in shame, but... bah. It's your story to tell, RL-G, inflections and all. If you *DO* want to know more, the PM here works.

Well, I'm conflicted too, in that I'm curious, but at the same time, to be honest, I have a hard enough time just getting all the syllables to come out in the right order some days. --G. -><- Benjamin D.
