>(clam juice and VODKA?! UUUUWWWAAAARRRGGGHHH.) That sounds like something you'd try after your ninth rum and coke. Remember kids: everything tastes good when you're drunk. :) Reverend Hammer I don't know either... |

Cherry 7-Up as a chaser for vodka. I've got a friend who still can't drink Cherry 7-Up for remembrance of that "incident". I drank these with Lancer in F13 once or twice, and then hacked on the GweepNet BBS. my favorite coding fuel is Coffee + Bailey's. >"You shouldn't be able to juice bivalves. That's just wrong." > -Ford I agree. And yet, Clamato is still being made. Why? >--G. >(clam juice and VODKA?! UUUUWWWAAAARRRGGGHHH.) Ick. Just ... ick. Good Drinks: Fizzy Navel. Peach schnapps and orange soda. Very tasty. Tito's Vodka. The first (and ONLY) vodka distillery in Texas. They had to rewrite the laws for this one, folks. Smooth stuff. It goes well with many things. Haven't had a chance to make a Caucasian with it yet, though. Find it if you can. If you can't, consider it an excuse to come to Texas. Moscow Mule. Ginger beer, vodka, and lime. Shaken. Tasty. Tanquaray Martini, shaken, dirty. Finest kind. Ebony the Black Dragon aka Draco Draconis Ebenium known to the BARTenders' Ancient Brotherhood as Aaron F. Regular/Cherry 7-Up + Sour Apple Pucker=Jolly Rancher Better than those malt-liquor-and-lemonades for wanting something that tastes good and quickly gets you hammered. Tito's Vodka, eh? Hmm, I may have to make some phone calls to my relatives in Texas, then... Reverend Hammer "Schnapps is the crack of alcohol." - Denis Leary |

>"Schnapps is the crack of alcohol." - Denis Leary Oh my, if schnapps = crack, then what on earth does Boone's Farm equate to? ::mentally wanders back to Strawberry Hill in a bown paper bag days in community college and is very happy he has a memory of it in the first place:: While every one else I knew in high school tried to get beer on the weekends, I was out at the hunting camp with my dad making whiskey and cokes for everyone, which has been cultivated into an adult appreciation for Jack Daniels and Glenlivet. Kamikaze on the rocks are perfect for rapid ascension to inebriation without tasting like paint thinner. If it's made right, it tastes just like lemonade, although the only ingrediants I can remember at the moment are vodka and triple sec. I know there's something else in it, but I can't remember exactly what right now. --------------------------- "I think we used too much." --------------------------- Chad Collier Digital Bitch J. >Oh my, if schnapps = crack, then what on earth does Boone's Farm >equate to? Kool-Aid, along with wine coolers. IMO, anyway. :) Speaking of Boone's, one time I stopped at a gas station in a little town, and the Boone's was cheaper than the Pepsi. I wonder what the town hobby was. :) >Kamikaze on the rocks are perfect for rapid ascension to inebriation >without tasting like paint thinner. If it's made right, it tastes >just like lemonade, although the only ingrediants I can remember at >the moment are vodka and triple sec. I know there's something else in >it, but I can't remember exactly what right now. Normally it is lime juice, but I've heard some variations on it. Lemon juice would probably be better for the lemonade flavor (duh). Kamikazes are good for a short walk to inebriation, but too bad they usually do bad things for my health (trying to hunt down Tums while drunk is not my idea of a good time). One of these days I'm going to have to try Cherry-Berry Pucker with Mountain Dew to see if I can get a Cherry Jolly Rancher effect going on. :) Reverend Hammer Who knows where his Old Mr. Boston's Drink Mixing guide is at all times... |
