Mental image: Mio comes to her senses, in the center of a small saucer. She looks around - there are dismembered alien bodybits everywhere - she looks down - most of the gooey stuff she's covered in is green - and then she looks back, at where the rest of her team are leaning around the same side of one of the doors in with their heads stacked in a row. All of their eyes are very very wide. Ritsu gives her a thumbs up anyway. Mio goes to hide in her Corner Of Woe. ----- The most wonderful thing about BBs Is BBs are wonderful things Their sides are made out of iron Their guns are made out of pain They're crashy smashy bashy flashy fun-fun-fun-fun-fun But the most wonderful thing about BBs Is there is more than one The~re is more than one! |

LAST EDITED ON Mar-30-16 AT 09:53 AM (EDT) by Mephron (moderator) As Warren Ellis books go, it's certainly easier to handle than some of his weirder stuff. I picked up the first volume on a lark, and loved it enough to buy the second the next week. Sadly, it only lasted 12 issues, but it was a great concept.Details on the basic premise can be found here. Ebony the Black Dragon "Life is like an anole. Sometimes it's green. Sometimes it's brown. >This reference has been made before around here, though not about >Azusa. I don't actually get it, but will assume the right people do. >:) More than likely by me. :) That being said, while the comic was indeed the original source, I think the TV pilot (which can be found with little effort) is more fitting with UF. Although it may require some explanation as to why Ro Laren left Starfleet, disguised herself as a human, and started calling herself Miranda Zero. :) (Or Helena Cain and the Colonial Fleet. Either works ;) ) Mario |
