Not sure I've responded to any of the art yet--I rarely respond unless I have something mind-blowing to say--but I realized I've looked at and loved virtually every piece you put out and never said a word about any of it. So let me just get out there that I'm very fond of your art, especially the coloration. I'm not going to pretend that I know anything about art, or that I can offer a coherent critique, like I can for the stories themselves, but thank you for all the effort you put into these. As for this particular one, Korra must have felt like she had a dagger in her chest the first time she saw Minami all grown up... --------

>I can see it too, now you've mentioned it, but I was thinking Howard >Hughes. Tony's father Howard was, well, called Howard for a reason, and my mental shorthand for Ryo right along has been "a Corwin-aged, Avatar-universe-ambiguously-Eurasian equivalent of the young Howard Stark from Captain America: The First Avenger," which may have influenced Phil's portrayal - so there you go, you're both sort of right. :) --G. -><- Benjamin D.
