They're back for the 25th anniversary. I can see Harmony Gold throwing another tantrum between now and the 40th anniversary. It's what they do best :) Also, YAY! Unseen! Matrix Dragon, J. Random Nutter |

Got to talk to the Catalyst guys for a bit at Origins today, they are super-pumped about it, and said there was a lot of research that went into making sure they used the 'proper' design specs, as there were multiple variants of the design out there from all the various liscensees over the years. They also said that they tried to make the specs fit the design much better, no more 'well that looks like a gun pod, but its really an antenna' that some of the adapted designs had. Catalyst ALSO had 12 of the old battle center pods at Origins, with 12 player deathmatches ensuing, with the action displayed on a big screen. They said that 8 of the pods used to be in the Chicago center, and the other 4 were from Michigan. Seeing all those pods lined up was a thing of beauty. The deathmatches were too. -D- "I don't tell you how to remove bullets. Don't you tell me how to make killing machines back into little girls." CGL has been doing a bang-up job since they took over the licence (Fanpro did a good job, and kept the game alive) The Unseen are back, as Legands!

>On a related note, Mechwarrior 5. I'm slightly suspicious; that's a Warhammer, and the deal to get the Unseen back into the game has been done for... what... a week? That's some speedy modeling. Sure, they might've known about it in advance, but who goes to that kind of trouble and effort in anticipation of something that isn't official yet? On the other hand, if it's an unauthorized fan film, they did a great job on it. --G. -><- Benjamin D.
