"2015.09.27 lunar eclipse"
|
LAST EDITED ON Sep-27-15 AT 11:06 PM (EDT)
Raw JPEGs of the photos I shot during the first phase of the eclipse are here if anyone's interested. (Note that they include failed attempts and shots with weird camera settings.) Totality is happening now in the US-Eastern time zone, ending soon; probably won't take pics of the emergence phase, since a) it's chilly out and b) it's basically the same thing as the entry phase, only in reverse. :) --G. -><- Benjamin D. Here, it was just starting to turn red as totality began. So of course the clouds rolled in again just then. It went from "Oh, cool, its turning reddish" to "I can barely see it thanks to the clouds" in about a minute. I checked back a few times during totality, but the moon didn't emerge from behind them until it was about 1/3 out of totality. -- The Other Sean - Don't accept substitutes!
