"Another little preview..."
|
... this one's a bit from another little Symphony side story I'm playing around with, by the working title Intermezzo: Ohtori Academy Spring Semester Blues. It's about done... I might hold off on releasing it until the main Symphony timeline catches up with it, or I might not. There are points to be made either way, but I'm too fried right now to make the final decision, so instead I'm just going to be a big tease. Enjoy... Nanami gave her a frosty look. "If our newest member could be convinced to concentrate on the -important- details?" "Fine, sorry," said Wakaba, subsiding. Then she leaned over and whispered to Keiko Sonoda, "(Who died and made Nanami chairman?)" "(Arisugawa, apparently,)" Keiko replied dryly. "(... That was -cold-, Keiko,)" Wakaba murmured. "(Sorry,)" the brown-haired girl said, but she didn't particularly sound it.

>Oh dear - Is Akio starting to bring in the second string players? Well, do the math - the first team's all missing now, except for Touga, who's off "studying overseas". Somebody's got to keep the place running. Who would fill out all that damn Student Council paperwork? (You can tell I just watched a few episodes of CLAMP School, 'cause I'm suddenly envisioning Touga, Saionji, Miki and Juri out on the balcony surrounded by huge stacks of forms, and Saionji harassing Touga about how he's always slacking off and fooling around with this silly tournament instead of tending to business. :) >(Considering Keiko is one of Nanami's toadies and all.) "is" isn't really accurate by the end of the original series. :) --G. -><- Benjamin D. Hutchins, Co-Founder, Editor in Chief, Netadmin Eyrie Productions, Unlimited http://www.eyrie-productions.com/

I take it "was" is a little more accurate. I get most of my information about Utena from websites. Funny thing, the characters interest me but the anime doesn't. I have the same feelings about NGE as well. The fanfiction about them is more entertaining than the anime they appeared in. Zack Seaholm - Anime fan, weathernut, worshipper of the goddess Belldandy. >>Miki Kaoru, international jewel thief... interesting notion. > >OK, I admit it. I failed this round of Spot The Reference. One of the three main characters on CLAMP School (aka CLAMP Campus Detectives, until Anime Village got done repackaging it) rather resembles a younger, happier Miki, both in appearance and demeanor. Akira Ijyuin, the Treasurer of the school's Elementary Division Student Council, is a helpful, upbeat lad, a world-famous chef, and (secretly) an international cat burglar of enormous renown. (It's a very odd show.) --G. -><- Benjamin D. Hutchins, Co-Founder, Editor in Chief, Netadmin Eyrie Productions, Unlimited http://www.eyrie-productions.com/

It's CLAMP. Your last statement is redundant. (I had a friend run me through Tokyo Babylon and explain it. LAST EDITED ON Aug-08-01 AT 02:03 AM (EDT) >>Miki: "Apple pie made with love tastes best. My sister and I used to >>make the best pies in our sunlit kitchen." > >Eyebrows on Kinky, Mr. Phred. All the sibling pairs on RGU have some variation on a weird sexual tension; the Kaorus' happens to be the most subtle (well, except in the movie), but it's there, all the same. As it happens, Azalynn has a theory about twins... --G. -><- Benjamin D. Hutchins, Co-Founder, Editor in Chief, Netadmin Eyrie Productions, Unlimited http://www.eyrie-productions.com/
