"Site Outtage"

LAST EDITED ON Feb-22-07 AT 08:30 PM (EST)

The EPU and affiliated web sites were down from approximately 3pm this afternoon until approximately 8:30pm this evening, Eastern Time.

The cause appears to be a power failure taking out the server, which did not power itself back on, followed by a case of mistaken identity as another machine was incorrectly labeled.

Everything appears to be back up and running normally at this time.

yeah, I was the man on the scene. It was 'interesting', but it definitely could've been worse. I was getting ready for a hard drive transplant. Thankfully, it didn't come to that.
