"Random Long Shots dep't"

Just for the hell of it, has anybody here got operating instructions for a Sansui AT-15S Audio Program Timer? I bought one, mainly just to use as a clock because I think they're neat, but since it's a piece of hifi equipment from 1979, it didn't come with the user manual. I knew that when I bought it and figured, "Hell, it's 2020, everything is online," but I have been unable to find instructions for it anywhere. All that I've turned up is the service manual, which is interesting if you like circuit diagrams for 1970s hifi electronics, but doesn't actually say how to work the dang thing, and the controls are... let's go with "not intuitive." --G. -><- Benjamin D. >In the comments on this video, the >creator describes how he made his work. Ah, thanks. And Mat got back to me with a rundown of what the other things do, too. The unit is old enough that it doesn't have polarized outlets, so I'm probably not going to be using the timer functions for anything, but still, it's nice to know how it's supposed to work. (And be able to set the clock. :) --G. -><- Benjamin D. *starts playing the theme tune on a beaten-up glockenspiel and a kazoo* *badly* --- "She's old, she's lame, she's barren too, // "She's not worth feed or hay, // "But I'll give her this," - he blew smoke at me - // "She was something in her day." -- Garnet Rogers, Small Victory FiMFiction.net: we might accept blatant porn involving the cast of My Little Pony but as God is my witness we have standards. look i'm on something of a budget here |
