(think) Well, she'd look good in the uniform. Anyway, yeah, that's pretty much the size of it. Clef doesn't necessarily think that Zoner's going to do anything bad - it's just that he doesn't know much about what being a Chaoswalker entails, and he's started second-guessing himself, because he has no way of knowing now whether Zoner actually did anything to help Utena or not. He's not worried about Zoner being actively malevolent so much as indifferent. --G. -><- Benjamin D. >>(How would you react if a girl from another diemension suddenly >>appeared out >>of nowhere in front of you.) > >Depends on the girl. In this particular case I'd probably have busted >out that same Better Off Dead misquote, then perhaps a >touchdown dance and a quiet "Woo hoo!", followed by a dash to bring my >car closer and a lot of semi-coherent muttering to myself. :) I thought the misquote was from "Men At Work." The quote I remember was: "Looks like someone threw away a perfectly good white boy." Issued by Keith David, I think. He's creepy when he does something other than voice acting. Or he gets creepy roles, at least. Ebony the Black Dragon aka Draco Draconis Ebenium known to the SAG as Aaron F. Johnson, Senior Editor, Living Room Games, http://www.lrgames.com

>I thought the misquote was from "Men At Work." The quote I remember >was: Don't think so. I believe the original is, "Damn shame, folks throwin' away a perfectly good white boy like that," said by a highway worker who notes a garbage truck passing by an underpass with the main character in the back. Primarily, though, I base this assertion on the fact that I've seen Better Off Dead, and haven't seen Men at Work. I suppose one might have been misquoting the other, come to that. --G. -><- Benjamin D. Hutchins, Co-Founder, Editor in Chief, Netadmin Eyrie Productions, Unlimited http://www.eyrie-productions.com/

Though, I'm not sure if it was a misquote or not, since the situations in both movies that cause the comment sort of lead naturally to it <to make a long comment short {too late} a case of parallel developement> -={(Astynax)}=- "Darkness beyond Twilight" |
