   Hiiiiii minna! Sorry I'm late! *ducks just in case anyone inferred that reference*
So I suppose I should introduce myself. WEeell...my name's Philip. I'm 19 years old, originally from Buffalo, New York. I'm sure you've heard of it...just think 'snow'..there, it's starting to come to you already. Recently, I skipped town just before I was supposed to start college and moved to Philadelphia. And if one more person calls me Philadelphia Phil I'm going to scream the C# above the Treble staff..
I was a music Major in high school. I play violin, viola, keyboards, recorder, and I dabble in flute, clarinet, guitar, and any other instrument I can get my hands on. I've been dying for a new instrument to try but I just don't have the money for one right now. I'm unemployed. Someday I'll fulfill my wish of starting a group that plays anime and game music. I'm also an avid, if poor, composer.
I first found Eyrie Productions searching for Utena fics. I just typed 'utena fanfic' into Google and it was near the top. After I read the first chapter, I couldn't stop...I read until I couldn't keep my eyes open..I read all of Symphony of the Sword in a week, then read it again, and again..I think I've read the entire thing 4 or 5 times. Sometimes I just go back and read chapters. In the past few weeks I've also read a lot of the rest of UF. Now I'm drooling over the trailers for /Valiant Rose/ and /A Day of Infamy/. This place really is cool.
I'm a BIG fan of Utena..I'm considering getting Utena fansubs so my roommate will watch the rest of Utena (he won't watch AVIs, of which I have almost the entire series).*wonders what SoS would be like if based on movie Utena* I'm also a fan of Sailormoon, but I won't talk about that since Gryphon doesn't like it. Or at least, prefers it in small doses. I also enjoy Rayearth, and basically most of the things SoS makes references to. I'm not a big Star Wars fan *ducks and hides* so I'll stay out of conversations which I know nothing about.
Now for something completely different..
I'm looking for videos/DVDs from season 8 of MST3K...especially Prince of Space, Invasion of the Neptune Men, and that horrible time-travel movie where the guy puts a Commodore 64 in his single-engine cessna..('I left my keys at the ManchuWOK OF THE FUTURE!)
I guess I'll be around a while (much to Gryphon's chagrin, I'm sure.) So Hi all.Grr...I stayed up UNTIL MORNING. Sigh.
