Follow the "DCScripts" link in the page footer, it's there. (You didn't miss the link before, I forgot to include it in the first place... oops.) Zoner's been an active contributor to the code base. He can tell you more about it later today, if we still have a network feed... :/ --truss.

>Zoner's been an active contributor to the code base. He can tell you >more about it later today, if we still have a network feed... :/ By 'active contributor' Truss meant '#1 contributor to the codebase, outside of the couple of guys who constitute DCScripts'. ;-) $69 for non-commercial use, $99 for commercial use - and worth it. It is Perl based, runs where Perl runs (UNIX & NT officially supported). v6.1 is current, and I've released a number of mods for it. I've written more, and have more in the works, which I'll be releasing sometime soonish. Work on v6.2 should be starting in the near future, and it is likely a number of the things I've done will be incorporated. (There are already a few in v6.1 and earlier revisions.) -MegaZone, megazone@megazone.org Personal Homepage http://www.megazone.org/ Eyrie Productions FanFic http://www.eyrie-productions.com/ |

>Darn, I lack funds... There is a 'DCFLite' version that is free, but lacks many of the features of the full version. >Another big problem is that I'd want to link it >into the mysql based authentication and user information system I >created over spring (and have yet to have a chance to integrate into If you can hack Perl I wouldn't think it would be that hard to mod the authentication routine to look in MySQL instead of the flat file it uses now. I've considered adding support for UNIX /etc/password or /etc/shadow files and Apache httpd auth files, and perhaps RADIUS. But there hasn't been a lot of demand for such things, and I don't have a need for it - it'd just be something I'd do because I can. I have a list of features I would have use for that I'd do first though. Adding native MySQL support is on the list of planned features for DCF, but probably not at least until the next major rev to 7.0. -MegaZone, megazone@megazone.org Personal Homepage http://www.megazone.org/ Eyrie Productions FanFic http://www.eyrie-productions.com/ |

I'm kinda surprised you didn't just take over an SF meeting and pressure everyone there into it. You could have gotten a few of the _really_ elder Wedgerats on your page. Speaking of which, you didn't get any of the non-neos... did you not try, or were you actually rebuffed? That would be odd... -Craig Need something to read? http://www.wpi.edu/~perko |
