"Saints Row the Third"

I played through to the point where it dropped me into free-roam, and, uh, yeah. The phrase "that escalated quickly" came to mind not once but several times during the tutorial rail. :) "Crazy-go-nuts" is the right term for it, too. It's like a Grand Theft Auto game that was written by Strong Bad. --G. "How much shit was in that plane?!" -><- Benjamin D. This is pretty much the only GTA-type game I've played and I've enjoyed it, though I stopped playing because I got distracted by shiny things (and the desire to record cutscenes before I clear out my older saves).

I'm glad you're (presumably) enjoying it! Saints Row 2 is on Steam as well but honestly, the port is somewhat lacking. The control configs are limited compared to 3 and 4 which leads to...awkwardness. It's also considerably less silly/awesome. If you want to know what happens, rather than playing it, I suggest watching a commentary free Long Play. I just did a quick look for one but couldnt find one I'd feel confident with linking. |

>In all honesty, getting the cut-scene from SR2 where Johnny is in the >courthouse having his trial is somewhat required, just to get an idea >of exactly who he is."You want to send me to the chair and you think I give a shit if you like me? Fuck off." I'd like to think that if he had been caught under different circumstances during the Exile, G might have taken a similar line. (For all I know, he might've at some point. :) --G. -><- Benjamin D.
