"Saints Row the Third"
|
LAST EDITED ON Nov-15-16 AT 00:21 AM (EST) Over in the GTA5/O thread, Kendra_Kirai said: >Have you tried GTA's absolutely batshit insane cousin on every drug >known to man, Saints Row? Specifically 3 and 4. The original was >pretty mych a straight GTA3 clone, 2 was getting wackier, and 3 is >when it went crazy-go-nuts. 4 is crazy-go-nuts on TOAST. :DThe "game plus all the DLC" combo pack for The Third was dirt cheap on Steam when I decided to check the other day, so I grabbed it, but between one thing and another I didn't have a chance to fire it up until tonight. I played through to the point where it dropped me into free-roam, and, uh, yeah. The phrase "that escalated quickly" came to mind not once but several times during the tutorial rail. :) "Crazy-go-nuts" is the right term for it, too. It's like a Grand Theft Auto game that was written by Strong Bad. --G. "How much shit was in that plane?!" -><- Benjamin D.
