Heck with you all! You all suck! You've wasted so much of my college life reading and rereading all of the available literature on this website since 1997! Now that I'm out of college and have a regular 8-5 job, you still waste my time as I reread all of that stuff again, reading all of the new material as you all come out with it, and hopelessly waiting for you to (much too) slowly put out new stories! ARRRGGHH!!!!

<Inhale>
...

<Sigh>

<grin>
Ok now that I have that out of my system (and gotten your attention...), here's what I really meant to say:

My full name is Nicholas Istre, but I often go by one the handles Falcon or Zitch, depending on what my mood was at the time of registration. I am a Computer Science graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (formerly the University of Southwestern Louisiana). I am currently working as a "Junior System Analyst" (a term that seems to mean I do it all!) for a small company in a small town down here called New Iberia. I play hockey when I can; I prefer to play ice hockey (Yes, there is an ice hockey rink down here in South-Central Louisiana... Actually two NHL regulation size rinks...) but I usually play roller hockey more often because of time (The rink is much closer to where I live and where I work). The anime I've watched and currently own is probably rather limited compared to others here; the list includes: Neon Genesis Evangelion (own on tape), Visions of Escaflowne (own on DVD), Record of Lodoss War (the original series and Chronicles of the Heroic Knight, both on DVD), Cowboy Bebop, Blue Seed, Ranma, and there's probably more, but that's all I can think of at the moment. My favorite Anime at the moment is Escaflowne (althrough I really don't have all that much of an interest in Mecha oddly enough...)

Ah hell. You all rock. There's not much more I can say about it.

I've been reading the material on Eyrie since the end of the summer of 1997. The first story I stumbled onto was Derek Bacon's "The Universal Science-Fiction Parody", probably through a link in some message board. Once I went through that, I some how got to "Special Guest for Life" Phil Moyer's "Serendipidity" and stayed up many nights reading instead of doing homework and sleeping at a reasonable hour. Once I finished Phil's masterpiece, I was hooked. I blew through UF (or what existed at that time, in the fall of 1997) in a month, then I think I started on NXE when it was first going out. Eventually, I finished reading through everything on Eyrie sometime in Early 1998, then proceeded to Read everything again! I can probably say that I've read Serendipidity, UF, and NXE at least 3 times a piece, and I am reading NXE for the fourth time during my free hour at lunch to keep me sane! :)

Hell, I was fan boyish enough to print out Serendipidity, the Core UF, and NXE on double sided pages and put them into 3-ring binders, so I can reread them anywhere (until I get a tablet PC... then I'll be carrying ALL of eyrie on that to read at my leisure... :) ) To add to my fanboyism status (is that a disease?), I had created Coverpages and Chapter divisions for my NXE binder on Photo Paper using images from the site. If you want to see them, I can scan them in (since I've lost the original photoshop files a couple of years ago) and maybe post them up somewhere.

Well, enough of that rambling. To all of you people that are involved in this little world of worlds called Eyrie Productions, I say thank you. Thank you for your efforts and hard work. Thank you for sharing your creativity to the world and *increasing* my intrests in Anime, Sci-fi, and reading in general. To me, it really doesn't matter if you don't even continue to produce new works; There enough material here to keep me engrossed for many years, if not a life time.

Blah... I better end this before I think of something else to write... :)

Zitch

P.S. Good <insert current personal deity here>! That was long!
