Not as such, I've just had a ton of other crap getting in the way lately. Like, for instance, over this past weekend I had to replace my refrigerator on an emergency basis, and immediately came down with some sort of infection (note: not believed to be The Virus at this time) within, I'm not kidding, an hour of getting the fridge problem sorted.

This has always been Meiling's general attitude toward these things. :)

It's an effect of a between-the-lines reading of his very carefully worded proclamation about witches. The "past, present, and potential" clause means it arguably applies to all women, and "the same rights... as any man of Karlsland" logically includes the right to take a wife.

This, at least, is the legal argument behind his imperial grant of (in one case retroactive) marriage licenses to certain Luftwaffe personnel presently serving in Europe, who will probably be a bit surprised when they arrive in the mail. :)
