The first game didn't want to cooperate on my machine much, but that's likely a case-by-case issues that I just didn't feel like taking the time to sort out. I've played a lot of the 3rd game (though haven't finished it yet...), and it is fantastic. Story is really interesting, characters are engaging, and gameplay is reasonably easy to pick up but with what I feel is a good amount of depth.
